Amber Owens has been a healthcare professional for 20 years focusing on health information, revenue cycle management, and compliance at health systems across New Jersey. Amber previously held the position of Director of Health Information Services at the New Jersey Hospital Association where she led a team of 30 consultants providing services in the areas of value-based payment models, managed care, compliance, risk adjustment, and revenue cycle process improvement. Amber is also an accomplished educator having presented live and webinar-based educational programs to thousands of healthcare professionals in NJ and across the United States. She received her Bachelor degree in Health Information Management from the University of Cincinnati, her Master in Healthcare Administration from Rutgers University, and Master in Business Administration from Wilmington University. Amber also serves has President of the New Jersey Health Information Management Association.
