About Program

We connect health IT innovators with healthcare executives, providers, and consumers in the Greater Newark Region. We’re grant funded by JPMorgan Chase & Co. small business forward program and currently in year 5 of our multi-year commitment! Our cluster development includes 3000+ healthcare professionals with 12 industry partners and 10 major annual events.

Boosting Entrepreneurs

Twice each year we run an executive networking & learning program for a select group of qualifying Health IT CEOs. These are the programs that we offer.

  • Executive Coaching: 6 CEO round table sessions and 1-on-1 advisement
  • Strategic Matches: Introductions to customers & partners with hosted and sponsored events
  • Partner Development: exclusive networking and matchmaking sessions

Our Team

Michael Ehrlich | LinkedIn
Associate Professor, NJIT School of Management

Michael had an international business career before joining NJIT’s School of Management as assistant professor of finance. He spent his last Wall Street years at Bear Stearns as senior managing director of the emerging markets fixed income business. Earlier stints included positions of increasing responsibility at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb and Salomon Brothers, where he worked in the Government Arbitrage group with John Meriwether. Upon leaving Wall Street, Ehrlich started FineStar Imaging LLC, a small technology company that specialized in document production and management. He sold FineStar in 2007. Today, along with teaching, Ehrlich participates in NJIT’s small business incubator program, the Enterprise Development Center (EDC). Ehrlich, who belongs to the New York Angels, works with start-up companies.

Marketing Support Planner, NJII

Tamara joined the New Jersey Innovation Institute following her graduation from Baruch College in NYC. She plays an integral role in managing logistics and marketing for the Health IT Connections Program. Prior to graduating, Tamara interned with Nike Communications and served as an intern for Congressman Donald Payne, Jr.’s communications team.
